What's my mobile code?
+-

A mobile code is required when you download the Online Member Directory app,

Your directory administrator will provide your code. Contact them if you need help.

You can also find the code in your directory’s URL (i.e., the code for https://breadforlife.ctrn.co is breadforlife).

There are no spaces in your mobile code, and it is not case sensitive.

Information cuts off
+-

If information exceeds the display area, “. . . ” will appear.

Turning your device from vertical/portrait to horizontal/landscape allows more room to display information.

For example, to read the full address below,

turn your device to horizontal/landscape position

Another option is to view your directory on your computer’s browser.

No option to text
+-

In order to text a mobile number, the number must be listed in the cell / mobile phone field in the member profile. If a number is listed, the message icon under the profile picture is blue       if the field is empty, the icon is gray.  Touch the blue icon to text from your device.

The message icon also appears under contact information, to the right of the mobile number.

Numbers entered in the primary phone field do not show the option to text.

What to do if you've been scammed
+-

Unfortunately, organizations are a frequent target of scammers because of their generosity and willingness to help others in need.  Scammers can easily obtain member information from your website and impersonate leaders to request money or gift cards.

What can you do about scams?
Educate your members. Explain how you will contact them when your organization has a need.   Tell them not to click on any links or reply to texts or emails if they are the least bit suspicious. Ask them to contact your organization by calling or sending a separate email.

The Federal Trade Commission offers advice on how to avoid and report scams at FTC.gov https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/how-recognize-and-avoid-phishing-scams

Wondering if you’ve been hacked?
Rest assured, your directory is safe and secure.  It is encrypted using SSL, and communication between your device and our servers is encrypted and private.  All transmission is encrypted, including when you enter your username and password.  Passwords are always encrypted and are stored that way on our servers.

It is important to remember that your directory only includes contact information, and each member controls what they share.  Your directory does not include confidential information, such as bank account or credit card numbers.

I'm not receiving Notifications
+-

Mobile notifications will always appear in the mobile app, regardless of your device’s settings. A red dot on the Notifications icon indicates you have unread messages.

If you would like your device to alert you when new notifications are received, update your device’s notification settings for the Online Member Directory app.
